Webley MK 6 Review: From The Eye Of Shooter!

Webley MK 6 review: From the eye of shooter!

This is a revolver containing 6 cartridges, each cartridge containing pellets loaded into the base. This is different from the BB revolver, which loads the BB into the nose of each cartridge. This air pistol fires both single-action and double-action, much like a firearm. Break the pistol by pushing the clip on the left side of the hammer (sorry, left-handed) to pull out the empty cartridges after shots, but not to eject them. Then disassemble the barrel with your other hand and the brewer will lift the cartridge out of the cylinder.

Features

Webley, which manufactures and sells this pellet revolver, has created a dandy container for it. The box lithographs important historical information about the Webley Service Revolver and contains a list of all the movies that have been seen since 1934. The box contains an instruction manual with basic operating information, including instructions for removing the turret. Yes, it can be disassembled! More realism!

Webley also has a copy of the 1937 Military Volume I, Pamphlet No. 11 (.455 inches) for pistols. This booklet contains a manual for revolver guns, including a mounted cavalry drill for dummies! Made in Taiwan, this pellet revolver is based on the original blueprint and is marked in 1915. In short, Webley didn't get in the way of giving the owner of this revolver as much realism as possible. The WebleyMark VI holster on the right, made of brown leather, can also be used with a revolver. Looking at the military pamphlet, it looks correct.  Here is my shout out to the industry. If you want to sell more lookalike airguns — realism is the key. Here are things to think about, and I am assuming your gun is as close to the prototype firearm as you can make it.

Finish — I had a heck of the time convincing manufacturers that buyers are interested in original finishes. A 1911 that looks like it has been carried 4 years is more desirable than a pristine example of the same model.  Colt Python, on the other hand, deserves a royal blue finish. Therefore, when you're done using the M1 carbine, put it in a wooden shaft with a wooden hand guard to insist on a matte metal finish.

Packaging-For Makarov pistols, put them in cheap boxes like Russians. Daisy even recreated the original box of her first model from Wirestock, and they filled it with true excellence.

Shooting

The front view is a square stanchion that does not differ from the original except for details. The original has a small screw that holds the front blade in place. The rear sight is part of the abumi that opens the road action. Similar to the original, but better and sharper. The  gun weighs 2 pounds. 5 ounces. empty. The air gun weighs 2 pounds. 5 ounces.

There are 6 cartridges there. It's pretty tight. Of course, weapons add weight when loaded, and airguns are equipped with CO2 cartridges. The pellets don't make much difference. On the right side of the frame is a fuse that the gun does not have. And there are plethoras of white warning letters on the same side of the frame. I suppose we have to put up with both of these because they are there for litigation, but they do spoil the look.

Pros:

  • Accurate
  • Good trigger
  • Very realistic and solid
  • Cons:

    No speedloader

  • Webley even ruled in a design for the US Army's MHS contest as CZ P09 has been adopted around Taiwan, and it quickly came out to be an effective design.
